Newly crowned chart queens Fifth Harmony moved up a notch this week to topple Rihanna and claim the number spot of the Philippines' Top 40.
"Work From Home" edge out "Work", as it garnered more streams, airplays and downloads for week ending April 26, 2016. This is Fifth Harmony's first top 10, top 5 and top 1 hit. The song is on it's 7th week in the chart. Rihanna had to settle for 2nd place with her 8th week old hit "Work".
Two of the top 5 hits this week have been in the charts for more than 20 weeks. Juan Karlos Labajo's "Di Ka Man Lang Nagpaalam" is currently spending it's 20th week with a brand new peak of no. 3. While Charlie Puth's "One Call Away" is currently at no. 4 and is the longest running song in the chart for this period, spending it's 27th week on PH Top 40.

'Work' songs top Philippine chart
Two songs with 'work' as it's title topped the Philippine chart this week.
Rihanna's "Work" continued her reign on the chart as she take the number one spot for a second week.
The other work song, "Work From Home" by Fifth Harmony jumped 7 spots this week, from number 9 to 2. This is the girls from X Factor USA's first top 10 hit in the chart. Their previous entries in the PH Top 40, "I'm in love with a monster" peaked at no. 11, "Worth it", reached no. 13 and "Sledgehammer" at no. 21.
Meanwhile, James Reid added another top 5 hit on his catalog as "Randomantic" moved up a spot, from no. 6 to 5. His other top 5 singles, (mostly duets with girlfriend Nadine Lustre) include: "Hanap-hanap", "Bahala Na" and "No Erase". "Randomantic" is also the over-all number one OPM song of the week as Daryl Ong's "Stay" dropped out of the top 5.

Rihanna is Philippine chart's new Pop Queen
After 2 years, Rihanna finally returns to the number 1 spot of the Philippines' Top 40 chart. "Work" which features Drake as guest artist dislodged Chainsmokers's "Roses" to lead this week's list.
The last time Rihanna topped the Philippine chart was on January 2014, when she was featured on Eminem's single, "The Monster".
Meanwhile, Juan Karlos Labajo continue to rule the OPM chart as "Di Ka Man Lang Nagpaalam" moved up to the no.5 spot over-all. Other OPM chart topping OPM songs this week include: James Reid's "Randomantic" (no. 6), Daryl Ong's "Stay" (no. 11), Darren Espanto's "7 Minutes" (no. 12) and Yeng Constantino's "Ferris Wheel" (no. 13).

Chainsmokers' 18 week old song finally clinch #1
The Chainsmokers's "Roses" finally reached the summit of the PH Top 40 chart this week. The current EDM wonders waited 18 weeks before topping the list. This is one of the longest chart week stay of a song before finally taking the number 1 position.
Other recent songs who stayed in the chart more than 3 months before taking the top pole, include: R.City's Locked Away (12 weeks), Darren Espanto's Stuck, Ed Sheeran's Thinking Out Loud (12 weeks) and Magic!'s Rude (14 weeks).
Last week's number 1 "History" by One Direction drops 4 spots to rank 5th this week. Other songs in the Top 5 are: "Work" - Rihanna, "Love Yourself" - Justin Bieber and "One Call Away" - Charlie Puth.
